Figure modeling involves using my figure as a reference for art students to sketch in class. This involves posing in dynamic ways and holding still for long periods. I pay attention to the needs of students, making sure they have a positive drawing experience while expanding their capabilities. This is a physically demanding yet highly artistically nuanced job.

Working at the BYU Ticket Office provided almost a year of customer service and event management experience. As a ticket clerk, I assisted customers with technology problems, purchase errors, and unexpected circumstances. I became better at de-escalating tense situations and practicing diplomacy and professionalism. This job enabled me to help hundreds of people who otherwise would've lost out on memorable experiences with friends and family.

I worked at Fox Pest the summer after graduating high school. I worked full-time in the Quality Assurance team as an account auditor. I audited customer sales made over the phone by our sales reps, checking for mistakes the reps made when they filled out the sale form. When I found a mistake, I would email the sales rep and mark the mistake in our recording system. This job is where I discovered my boring talent for data entry, and I quickly became recognized for my auditing speed.

This job involved organizing clothing in the Al's Sporting Goods store in Logan, UT. I did not like this job, though I persevered until I felt it was appropriate to quit. I felt like I was paid to complete an unfinishable and meaningless task. Whenever I folded clothes and put them away, customers would just pick them up and unfold them again, creating an endless cycle of folding and unfolding the same clothes for 6 hours. This was my first "real" job. I loved my experience at Five Guys, though I wouldn't want to go back as a crew member. I learned so much about the workplace, customer service, and food production. The value I gained outpaced the value I provided—which is saying something. I was recognized by my boss as one of the best fry makers and lobby cleaners at the Logan location. (Also, shoutout to Sarah, my first and favorite boss.)
