My company acquired a start-up to incorporate my idea and launched aspects with clients in 2018. I am now pursuing disruptive financial technology innovation covered by MIT.I AM NOT DETERRED BY ROADBLOCKS AND THRIVE ON PIVOTING: Mid-career, my desire for entrepreneurship outweighed the risk of income reduction. Luckily, my manager understood my zeal for entrepreneurship and kept me on part-time so as to retain my excellent client servicing and not disrupt important client relationships. I recovered my self-funded entrepreneurial investment in Year 1 of 5.I PURSUE EDUCATED RISKS: My entrepreneurial spirit is educated, not impulsive. I vigorously pursue ideas learned at MIT with other fintech enthusiasts worldwide who collaborate on projects and business plans. We have been taught how to use these tools to improve life. Improving the life of others has always been my entrepreneurial goal--first for toddlers, now for homeowners.I HAVE PROVEN SUCCESS AT CREATING OPPORTUNITIES WITH LONG-TERM VALUE: In my 30+ year corporate career, I created solutions that became foundational elements for major national advertisers. I focused on solutions with positive ROI and long-term value (20+ years) even sustaining commitments thru annual renewals and client regime changes. Having already attained my corporate new business goals within the first four months of the year, I have turned my attention to building the disruptive fintech business inspired at MIT.
