I researched and identified various foundations to target and wrote various grants proposals for NPI’s Experience North program. I fostered and maintained relationships with various reporters and media outlets across Northern Ontario, coordinated media interviews, wrote a press release every two weeks, distributed content to media, managed website updates and re-design, wrote a monthly blog column for The Walleye, wrote and posted social media content, managed monthly newsletter and distribution. Assisted in event planning and execution of various conferences, information sessions and virtual events.

I create distribution lists for publications as well as assist in outreach activities for the Institute. I manage NPI's CRM, Hubspot, as well as train staff on how to use Hubspot with training materials I created. I also help with fundraising and other development activities.

NOHFC Internship. I create the monthly newsletter, write blogs and success stories and social media content. I maintain and update the website regularly and maintain our media contact list. I also am creating staff training materials for our new database system to manage contacts as well as planning outreach activities such as a speaking tour.

Plan and create social media posts about recent promotions and post social media pages. Follow Dairy Queen Canada's corporate calendar and branding. Ensure that store signage complies with corporate requirements.

I am responsible for opening and closing the library, circulating books by checking them in and out, assisting students with research, and processing books before circulation. We use the Library of Congress call system and am familiar with how to find and re-shelve books as well as how to use the Conifer computer application for book circulation.

I work with the project manager to coordinate the Send a Kid to Camp program. I coordinate between summer camps and the Foundation to ensure that over 600 kids are registered in camp. I coordinate changes made between summer camps and the parents as well as social workers of the children. I work closely with social workers and foster parents to ensure that less fortunate kids get the chance to attend summer camp.

Maintain the centre by ensuring women have access to the resources they need to help with sexual assault, mental health, and women's safety.
