Beginning in summer 2019, MCC expanded their store to include retail products for home and gift. As visual merchandiser, I create eye-catching and appealing displays that align with the store's culture and target market. Store displays and floor plans are adjusted weekly to accommodate seasonal themes and new product. To increase our customer base and potential profitability the position of social media strategist was added in late 2019. As a strategist, I coordinate and develop content for all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to increase brand awareness in a cohesive and creative way for the brand. This position requires networking and sales to local businesses and creating a local and national presence as well as strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with a strong emphasis on marketing.

As an adjunct floral design instructor for UC's Communiversity program I educate curious and novice floral designers about the mechanics of floral design by teaching step by step demonstrations on centerpieces and wreaths while using locally grown and seasonal ingredients.
