The Amsterdam University for the Arts has established a Research Center to further promote and initiate close collaborations between its constituent academies as well as other Higher Education Institutes and public partners. For the Horizon2020 project CENTRINNO, I work with Hester Dibbits to imagine new roles for heritage in the regeneration of 9 European (post/trans) industrial sites. Beyond the H2020 project, I support in research, strategic development.

I am supporting by identifying funding opportunities, consortium construction efforts, conceptualization and all else that is needed in the development of high quality applications around heritage, learning and identity.

A nice little ambitious project to mark the 400th anniversary of the journey of the Pilgrims from Leiden to Plymouth (US) in which I coordinate an great groups of people and organisations to ultimately challenge students (age 14-17) to come up with a creative, relevant and inclusive solution to the question: How should we commemorate the migration of the Pilgrims?

This timely project stems from the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) Action Plan "Our Football is For Everybody". In this project, I work with the Anne Frank House on the development of an educational approach and serious game for combating racism and discrimination in Dutch football.

A project called "Wordt Gemist" that seeks to guide students (age 10-15) in finding Dutch victims of the Holocaust on the fabulous Joodsmonument.nl, learn about the everyday-life experience they may have had in the years of the Nazi occupation and commemorate them on a national platform. I am co-developing the educational resource.
