As a Senior Analyst, I've maintained the responsibilities from my previous roles, with higher performance and an emphasis on leadership. Through understanding the data warehouse methodologies and employer benefit plan design, I help my clients manage their benefits. • Serve as the primary contact for Optum’s data warehousing and reporting product, Benefit Analytics Manager, for client service needs.• Represent clients internally and coordinate across functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address service needs• Simultaneously manage multiple projects with a variety of deliverables to best meet client needs• Ensure quality results are delivered to clients for every aspect of a project• Build strong relationships with external employer clients• Define the scope of periodic reporting and prepare key analytic findings focused on cost and utilization trending and quality of care patterns for clients• Design and prepare analytic deliverables based on client needs• Analyze and consult with clients on a range of health care data types, including medical, drug, workers compensation, disability, health risk appraisals, lab results and wellness program management• Identify data quality issues, manage the investigation of the root cause, and work to resolve the deficiencies• Design and conduct client training for Benefit Analytics Manager• Serve as a resource for colleagues and mentor new hires• Work with leadership cross functionally to develop and implement innovative ideas to further enhance the operational efficiency of the department
