• Synthesized and summarized primary scientific research from HERCULES Exposome Scientists, creating community engagement resources that local community members and leaders around the metropolitan Atlanta area could access to gain public health knowledge.• Created health education resources in the Spanish language to better engage the Spanish speaking populations around the metropolitan Atlanta area.• Conducted workshops with community members in East Point to help facilitate their grant-application process.• Performed in-depth interviews with current grant awardees to collect data on how the Research Center could better support their community projects and needs.

• Conducted a 90 day community diagnostic to better understand Masin’s challenges and strengths, and to become better culturally integrated to later present my findings as a trusted advisor to the community.• Performed over 30 house visits a month assisting 15 underserved mothers in rural areas to provide training on topics including hygiene, effective feeding practices, and early childhood stimulation, resulting in 70% of the participant mothers achieving improved health outcomes in their children.• Created and led a youth training group of 12 peer educators, training them in areas of leadership, critical thinking, sexual health and prevention of sexually-transmitted diseases, resulting in 85% of the teens demonstrating improved behavior to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STI transmission.• Trained 6 local health personnel and 4 teachers in sustainable practices for disease prevention in children under the age of 3 and adolescents between ages 12 and 17, forming a community health team.• Wrote quarterly progress reports on monitoring & evaluation of program goals to the Peruvian Ministries of Health and Education and to Peace Corps Washington.
