I started my company in February 1977 with the slogan “Offering Comprehensive Business since 1977”. Having started in the security business, we quickly expanded into expanded services like CCTV systems, fire alarm systems and access control. By 1984, my brother had left the Air Force, joining the company and we added telecommunications from wiring to equipment I returned to The University of South Carolina and concentrated in finance and computer science. That’s when Dave’s USAF training & my formal education at USC, we added computers, network wiring, custom programming and support as part of our diverse palette of business services. Recently, after 45 years since I started our family business, health issues let me know that at 68, it finally time to my hometown of Charleston, where most of my family lives, including my grandchildren all live. I’ve turned over the operation of the company to my brother & his son. I’ll remain an on-call Systems Consulting Analyst and handle support of our Lowcountry clients. Now, I focus on my landscape photography, finally starting to enjoy myself after a lifetime of working at least 50-60 hours a week.
