Supervise the development of lesson plans, instructor material, and unit training management individual and collective tasks for implementation of training management in units. Schedule and conduct in progress reviews (IPRs) with government leads. Manage the work load of 2 UTM Content Authors, 2 UTM Lesson Plan Authors, and 1 Multimedia Specialist eLearning Developer. As required, assist the Unit Support Coordinator / Instructor in preparing and delivering training materials (slides, POIs, Lesson plans, spreadsheets and multimedia products) based on the requested support. Created the knowledge management system and functions while the Director of Operations at my organization. Used SharePoint as knowledge management and collaboration tool, successfully integrated our combined knowledge into an easily searchable database. Operations was the first element to train on and use the system and scheduled training for the other four divisions as well as serving as the subject matter experts on knowledge management. Additionally, organized the collection of lessons and techniques at the end of each exercise and chaired the board that decided which elements to include in the database. Demonstrated that Information Technology portion of knowledge management was secondary to the process of identifying, capturing, managing, and maintaining the knowledge by personnel who need to use the information.
