In this role i supported qualified psychologists in the delivery of clinical services, this included assisting with psychological assessments and individual and group based psychological interventions. In this role I also conducted clinical administrative activities, audits and research. Under the guidance of a qualified psychologist I collected,collated and analysed data which was then wrote up and presented in reports to the wider medical team (MDT). I exercised my initiative on a daily basis during this role within agreed parameters with my supervisor and also the nursing team.

I was assigned to 1 to 1 mentoring with a struggling Year 11 pupil on their chosen subject, the pupil i was assigned to needed assistance with his Physics GCSE. I was able to support this pupil with his educational development but also his personal development. I adapted to my pupil’s style of learning and created lesson plans in advance, ensuring they were engaging but also informative. In these sessions i was able to inform my pupil of different ways he can understand the subjects content in order to suit his learning technique
