Responsible for all operations of the large scale Covetrus, TX Specialty/Commercial Pharmacy. This includes compounding and dispensing multiple dosage forms as well as dispensing commercially available veterinary medications.

Responsible for all Steris - Animal Health Division manufacturing, distribution, and repair operations. This includes the vertically integrated veterinary surgical procedure based kitting/manufacturing operation, flexible endoscope manufacturing, veterinary surgical device/instrument repair, & veterinary product distribution.

• Responsible for all operations of a 286,000 sq. ft. distribution center including field service representatives, inbound/outbound operations, private fleet/commercial transportation, quality/inventory control and environmental, health, and safety. • Provide direction to management team consisting of a customer facing manager, an operations manager, 3 operations supervisors, Quality/Inventory Control supervisor, and an Environmental, Health, and Safety/Quality supervisor. Provide indirect oversight for 110 associates.• Partner with the Region Director of Sales to ensure sustained high customer satisfaction as measured by Cardinal Health’s customer loyalty index.• Lead quarterly/monthly business reviews with Alabama market key customers.• Responsible for all aspects of the Alabama Market P&L including revenue, OCOS, OPEX, and Operating Earnings. Maintain favorable operational expense to net sales ratios. • Responsible for the execution and sustainment of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, and Kaizen events for the Alabama Market. Projects were executed both within the distribution center & with key market customers.• Reduced operational expenses by $698k over three years through the execution of 23 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, and Kaizen events. Projects focused on 5S, Standard Work, Takt rates, Defect Reduction (Poka Yoke), and work flow (WIP).• Maintain high Voice of the Employee metrics including favorable employee survey results, and a zero recordable incident rate safety record.

• Responsible for all aspects of a 24 hour/ 5 day per week inbound operation including scheduling, receiving, stocking, and return goods.• Responsible for the Quality Inventory Control (QIC) functions including FCA, expired product, cycle counting, customer credit approval, CR/DR, recon investigation, freight claims, blocked stock, In/Out process, and all QIC related reporting.• Responsible for a staff of 64 including 2 SE supervisors, 1 SNE inbound coordinator, 5 SNE QIC, and 56 WNE personnel.• Led the Inbound/QIC team through a Lean Six Sigma Transformation process which included 1 Black Belt & 3 Kaizen events. Transformation projects resulted in increased employee morale, a 63% reduction in Process Lead Time (dock to stock), and greater than $100k in Type I and II savings.

• Responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance including the physical building, information technology systems, Automated Storage & Retrieval System(AS/RS), sortation conveyor system, material handling fleet, HVAC, and drug/device freezer and refrigeration systems.• Managed a staff of 15 including 1 SE supervisor and 8 SNE employees.• Reduced AS/RS maintenance inventory by $100k over 3 years through the use of economic order quantities and min./max. inventory functions. • Set-up the Grand Prairie and Houston facilities on a computerized maintenance management system (MicroMain) including preventive maintenance and work order modules.• Installed back-up power generation systems in our Hammond, LA. and Grand Prairie, TX facilities.• Utilized as regional technology support for all facilities within the Southwest Region.

• Responsible for all aspects of GMP production floor management for the Lid Assembly, Silkscreen & Pack out departments to include supervision of one SNE and 40 WNE employees.• Achieved favorable financial performance for departments of responsibility - $175k favorable to plan on a total departmental plan of $4.6m.• Prepared budgets for departments of responsibility to include material inventory, labor, and overhead.

• Responsible for all aspects of both facilities and production maintenance including the direct supervision of 3 SNE and 29 WNE technicians.• Managed uptime requirements for 52 injection molding machines, 5 semi-automated lid assembly cells, 3 blow molders, 2 Flex assembly cells, thermoforming operations and all ancillary production equipment according to GMP requirements.• Developed and managed an annual MRO and maintenance expense budget of $1.6m.• Developed and applied an accurate forecast model for real-time committed MRO expenses.• Established an in-house forklift repair program that reduced annual forklift repair budget by $30k.
