Inspiration, although a fleeting feeling, is the spice of life. Everett's goal above all else is to aid others in becoming the best versions of themselves. His passion for life centers around providing value to those can use his communication, technical, and unique problem-solving skills to better the world around us. Everett is proud to claim Compton, California, the veritable University of Hard Knocks, as his hometown. We struggle to keep our heads above water at times, but we can learn dedication from this. The world can be a dangerous and unforgiving place, yet with a positive mindset and an appetite for learning all things are possible. In spite of or perhaps because of the trials placed in front of him, Everett has become a self-taught Test Automation Developer who is always improving by learning and creating with others. Frustratingly missing the mark at times, but always learning.Both Everett's triumphs and defeats have allowed him to achieve what he never thought possible. He has gone from repairing PC towers part-time to writing entire Selenium and API automation frameworks for Fortune 500 Companies. Always striving to grow led him to find a passion for software testing, and the ability to drive projects he is working on towards completion and stability. His next steps will be to start paying it forward in a leadership capacity, to help those who might come after him. Being free to live his dream of supporting causes that light a fire beneath him, becoming integral to the development of software that enhances lives; these are things Everett cherishes vehemently. He humbly looks back on the opportunities he has been given, and to the future where he hopes his skills and experiences will contribute to software testing and the SQA community as a whole.The things he has learned in life and the shoulders on which he stands allow Everett to face each day with humility, integrity, and an eagerness to learn.
