As the Managing Director of BDKV, the German Association of the Concert and Event Industry, I lead the advocacy, representation, and promotion of the live music sector in Germany and beyond. With a background in law and cultural management, I have over 17 years of experience in city marketing, with a special focus on music cities and music in a city's marketing.I am passionate about fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainability in the music and event industry, and leveraging its potential for economic, social, and cultural development. I am also actively involved in various initiatives and networks that support and empower music venues, artists, and professionals, such as the Hamburg Music Club Foundation, the Music Cities Network, and the Institut KMM Hamburg. My goal is to contribute to the growth and resilience of the music ecosystem and to enhance its value and visibility.
