    As Sector Head I am responsible for the management of one of the 3 operational sectors of AIAS Bologna onlus; with approximately 105 staff members a large NGO, providing in close cooperation with local authorities services to persons with disabilities and their families. The social care and disability sectors are rapidly evolving sectors and it is the objective of my highly flexible team to be at the forefront of developments in advocacy, policy development, technology and disability, quality services. European projects and networks are important opportunities to reach our goals and in the recent past we have taken the lead in Italy and beyond on themes such as "Maltreatment and disability", "Disability and the Digital Divide", "Training in Assitive Technology", "the European Care Certificate". I'm proud on what we have achieved in the past 15 years.
