Major research internship (51 ECTS, 10 months) at the Membrane Biochemistry and Biophysics Group, part of the Department of Chemistry, under supervision of Dr. Eefjan Breukink.The research project involved purification and characterization of an enzyme that causes antibiotic resistance in fungus P. Discolor with the goal of finding inhibitors.

Tzigane is a student band with a history going back to 1910 that performs around 30 times a year, usually at private parties. I joined the band in 2016 as a pianist and assumed the role of manager in 2018. In this capacity, my responsibilities included administration, contacting clients, scheduling and leading rehearsals and organising events.
