Besides helping with improving the system to be more user friendly and intuitive, I have taken an active role in the implementation of the system and the way of working at client-side. Leading internal optimisation projects by applying hybrid versions of LEAN, SCRUM & Agile methodology.Results1. Developed an innovative methodology to categorise work, by means of defining matching competences per project. Furthermore it enabled better balance of workload between different production locations. This has significantly increased the customer oriented focus.2. Improved the clients briefing and hand over process to professionalise the way of working. This has resulted in better collaboration between involved parties and reduced waste in the process.3. Developed a way of working to set-up yearly account plans as well as converting plans into SMART goals. This resulted in an improvement of how we keep & grow clients (retention, cross-selling and up selling).

Europe

Reporting directly to the CEO and helping Unilever to reach their goals in Brand Communication by managing the packaging design-to-print process on their behalf. I led DSN client teams (16 FTE) over 4 locations in 4 countries. Advised on the improvement of the way of working and implemented project management and DAM tools in order to support the process. Acted as Project Lead on new Food Information to Consumers legislation (2014), which resulted in the change of the client’s entire packaging portfolio (scope >7500 sku’s) within 18 months.Results 1. Retention & Growth:I realised turnover growth from €500K to >€3M in 8 years and the client’s brand portfolio grew from 3 local brands to >100 brands with European and Global presence.2. Cost reduction: In 5 months I led the transition of outsourcing our operations including setting up a team of 14 FTE (account & production) in Sofia, Bulgaria. This resulted in a 20% cost reduction.
