Conducted field work in areas of previously recorded pre-historic sites, including both survey and excavation. Maintained accurate records of site data, areas visited, and items found. Work collaboratively with teammates, and assisted in supervision of backhoe assisted excavation.

Survey project for pipeline in eastern rural Alberta. Walked and test-pitted large transects of native prairie, used GPS for navigation and waypointing, photographed historic sites, identified artifacts located in test-pits, drew maps for historic sites, developed working knowledge of township system, and interacted with landowners.

Excavation of several large sites near Fort MacKay, Alberta. Worked both as a team and independently.
