Provided paraprofessional advising for a floor of 76 female undergraduates each semester. Confronted and resolved issues on diversity, racism, alcohol and drug abuse, academic performance and social acceptance. Worked with group dynamics on a staff of 21 people. I also acted as a Desk Assistant, where I provided help, ran and maintained the upkeep of the front desk.

I read and edited every piece of copy. I also acted as a reporter, conducting interviews, gathering information and writing stories.

I work with mentally handicapped adults in Waiver Houses. I obtained my Med Manager’s license so I can give out meds. I transport clients to appointments, observe their daily routines, teach daily tasks/functions, I help with adult day training, behavior supports and community living supports.
