CurrentEve has over 20 years’ experience designing commercial offices and education spaces, residential interiors and in furniture consulting and supply of FF & E. She has worked both nationally and internationally. Her practice develops each project with an award winning approach. Her recent project for Jesus College has been shortlisted for a prestigious FX Award.Originally from New York, Eve studied Industrial design at university. Her interest in product design has complimented her experience in Interior design, and her willingness to experiment and explore materials. Her early career was with interdisciplinary practices working on interiors, product design, exhibitions, graphics and furniture. Eve has worked for architectural practices in both New York and London, including Gensler, Kohn Pederson Fox and Skidmore Owings & Merrill. While working at these practices her clients were mainly Fortune 500 institutions. Since setting up her practice she continues to enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with other design professionals and architects. She has sat on the panel for the RIBA’s annual small practice conference: Guerilla Tactics and is an affiliate member of the RIBA. With a heritage steeped in the arts – her mother is New York artist Phyllis Floyd and father was writer Eli Waldron – Eve undertakes public art commissions as well as designing furniture and rugs.
