As a skillful developer with Master of Science in Engineering and diverse experience of working in the cross-cultural environment, I apply ingenuity to solve software problems. I enjoy creating frontend user interfaces (UI) because it involves a level of craftsmanship where the knowledge, creativity and skills are combined to deliver interfaces with the excellent user experience (UX).I was introduced to programming by my father, who was an astronomy scientist. He challenged me to apply problem-solving methods to everyday life. Programming and web-technologies remained as a hobby until I was hired by a small web-development company in Central Asia. My experience of developing custom Joomla or WordPress frontend templates utilizing jQuery and Bootstrap frameworks came with web-site implementations for a variety of clients around the world. A few full-stack solutions for education, publishing and public transportation industries were also developed using PHP or Java.As a freelancer, I was able to meet the needs of my clients, who trusted me with the implementation of their business ideas. That frequently involved transforming the existing PHP or JavaScript codebase, advancing their business to a new level. As web technologies evolve, so has my experience with various frontend frameworks. From jQuery, Bootstrap and Backbone to Vue, React, Svelte and Custom Components, my projects were extended or created from scratch. Sometimes my client just wanted to optimize their product performance on the web, which required a deeper understanding of browser engines. Most of my projects in the last 3 years were developed with node.js.Working as a solo-developer for more than 5 years, I’m looking forward to joining a team and I will appreciate when a teammate is there to collaborate on the best architecture, frontend stack and methods of implementation.I’ve been contributing to the open source project that runs on Electron.js by refactoring parts of the user interface in vanilla JavaScript with web components, increasing performance and responsiveness of the product by updating layout to the current CSS features (grid, flex box, custom-properties).
