ProductInternational grocery eCommerce solution for 5 counties in Europe with omnichannel solution (web, mobile app, kiosks and POS)Achievements- As a part of the Skills Assessment process in the company, I took part in 35 sessions for engineer level up (Middle->Senior, Senior, Lead Engineer). As a result, each person received detailed feedback and career advice and around 30 engineers achieved a new career stage- Within 9 months launched next-gen mobile grocery retail solution in Czech Republic with 10k users weekly- Within 6 months of continuous development decreased number of open defects from 100 to 30- Within 3 months delivered a proof of concept of an innovative mobile application for seamless checkout in cashierless stores. PoC was launched in client’s offices and prolonged due to its convenienceResponsibilities- Built, led, and managed 2 multicultural engineering teams (16 engineers total) in a fast-paced environment.- Participate in collaboration with the client using the Product Increment program and UX check sessions.- Apply agile methodology by facilitation and effective collaboration with product management, engineers, and designers. We use SAFe on the program level, while Scrum is applied on the team level.- Pitch ideas to the top management and key stakeholders- Facilitate growth and learning by hiring, coaching, and mentoring: I am the head of the e-commerce department with 24 developers. For every person I conduct monthly 1-2-1 sessions, provide feedback, help with onboarding, motivation, career goals, growth and learning path- Support the teams in cross-team collaboration and communication- Organize team building to improve relationships within the team- Drive continuous improvement focusing on the quality of the product- Help in identifying problems in the early stages by keeping the risk registry up to date and articulating short- and long-term consequences. Product:Project: E-commerce solution for large corporation with direct sales model (health, beauty & homecare) in 12 countries (SE, DK, NO, FI, ES, PT, NL, BE, DE, FR, AT, CH)Achievements- Created a well-defined communication plan for stakeholder management across 20+ 3-rd party systems and 80+ stakeholders for an e-commerce international program.- Drove a refactoring of the payment solution that was completed in 6 months, where we went from supporting a single payment provider to multiple ones, that are working simultaneously and able to switch on the fly, providing better scalability and disaster recovery plan.Responsibilities- Managed 2 cross-functional engineering teams (22 engineers total) in an agile environment- Took a part in establishing solution architecture landscape- Improved processes inside the teams and on the project using best practices from Agile and Lean- Constantly was looking for an ability to exceed customer needs and bring additional business value- Improved collaboration between the product team, engineering, and key stakeholders across all domains.- Supported a friendly atmosphere across project team members with online team buildings.
