CurrentAs an IT Project Leader in Core Banking Transformation at Banco Popular Dominicano, I played a pivotal role across various dimensions of project management. I conducted comprehensive data analyses to clearly define our project scope, scrutinizing our existing systems to understand their architecture, capabilities, and limitations. I was instrumental in creating flow charts, process maps, and system integration points, laying the groundwork for a successful project outcome. I spearheaded critical migration projects, transitioning applications, modules, and interfaces from our legacy AS400 systems to cutting-edge cloud-based solutions. My hands-on involvement extended to various technologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, IBM AS400, Transact T24, APIs, and Microservices. I led efforts to prepare and assess infrastructure requirements, ensuring the alignment of necessary resources for the modernization of our Core Banking System and Cash/Till Management solutions. We used a proactive integration approach in transitioning to cloud-based systems served as a key risk mitigation strategy, reducing our dependency on outdated technology and positioning us for future scalability. Additionally, I served as the primary liaison between our project team and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle which contributed to efficient project execution and team collaboration.
