Carried out four assignments to improve commercial skills and develop exceptional leadership competencies. Finished the graduate scheme six months early due accepting a permanent managerial role.Assignments were carried out in:Innovation:• Analysed trends, data and our customer demands to identify opportunities that would enhance our customers’ experience. Used these insights to generate the strategy and prioritise the backlog.• Used agile methodology and design thinking techniques to generate prototypes and experiment with technology for an Apple TV app, price change alerts and natural language processing.• Project managed the delivery of the Thomson Holidays Apple TV app from idea through to supplier selection and commercial agreements.• Engaged stakeholders at director level to get sign-off for ideas.Business Change:• Supported on a variety of large projects and programmes through running workshops, writing business cases, creating stakeholder maps and creating communication plans to effectively drive forward change. Product Strategy:• Analysed large amounts of data to generate comprehensive reviews of our different hotel products.• Recommended strategic plans with clear customer propositions to grow two products by 50% by the next summer based on sales and competitor analysis, customer trends & new opportunities. Graduate Project – The Workplace of the Future:• Worked on a 6 month project alongside BAU role to assess what the workplace would look like in 5-10 years and present compelling recommendations for change to the UK&I board. This involved leading a team, engaging with senior stakeholders, and working with external suppliers to successfully deliver an engaging presentation with key recommendations that could be picked up by the board.Overseas Assignment:• Spent 4 weeks in Cyprus to gain an understanding of how our overseas operations work and made recommendations as to how to improve these.

Key responsibilities included: · Leading a team of ambassadors at open days · Presenting alongside senior lecturers to large audiences · Visiting schools to encourage students to enter further education.

Responsible for analysing sales and generating methods to maximise profit through price changes, marketing and focusing on pricing and promotions across distribution channels.Led the financial side of a business case and proposed ideas towards running an event on a cruise ship to increase sales and target a new audience. Worked on a project to propose and create a prototype for a new app, which aimed to reach a new target audience. Proposed and developed ideas for the app and marketing based on customer and business research.
