I am a driven individual who is currently studying for an undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Sheffield. I'm thankful to have taken a broad range of modules over the past two years but am now specialising in the sphere of sustainable agriculture as I move into my third year. My previous academic results include 7 A* and 3 A grades at GCSE, results of an A*AA in my A levels ( geography, biology and chemistry), and an A in my EPQ which I focussed around the disparities in accessibility to dental care for those with learning disabilities. During my degree course I have worked in teams to design experiments, create and deliver presentations, and design scientific posters on specific subject matter. I have also worked individually on essays, lab reports and presentations, this has ensured I have the ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings. While studying I work as a part-time support worker. This job has helped me refine my ability to support, communicate and emphasise with individuals with learning disabilities. My main job role is to support and guide individuals to develop the required skills to progress from residential to supported living.
