Research title: Exploring the role of RORγt-expressing innate lymphoid cells development of murine dural lymphatics.Infante Duarte Lab - Innate Immunity & NeuroinflammationTasks: • Isolation of Meningeal Lymphatic Vessels: Careful dissection to isolate delicate meninges using a microscope and fine microdissection tools.• Preparation of Mouse Whole Head Slices: Mice whole heads were fixed and embedded then sectioned using the Leica CM3050 cryostat.• Immunolabeling: Selected lymphatic vessel markers were stained using fluorescently labelled antibodies, visualised using the Keyence BZ-X810 fluorescent microscope and analysed using the FIJI plugin on ImageJ. Whole head slices were stained for selected lymphocyte markers, imaged with the Nikon Scanning Confocal A1R-Si+ microscope and analysed with ImageJ.• Genotyping: DNA isolation, PCR amplification and gel electrophoresis techniques were carried out to determine the genotype of reporter and knockout mouse strains used in this project.

I began at Boots working at the health and beauty counter, offering advice on beauty and health-related inquiries. I stayed updated on new products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction. This role improved my customer interaction skills and deepened my product knowledge.Responsibilities included advising customers, maintaining a tidy counter, and proactively restocking and cleaning shelves.

I collaborated with my team to ensure seamless communication with kitchen and bar staff for efficient service and a superior dining experience. I stayed updated on daily promotions and special dishes to assist guests effectively.Responsibilities included welcoming and seating customers, operating the bar for both dine-in and take-away patrons, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and addressing any customer requests.

As a festive colleague, I provided store-wide assistance during the holiday rush. My main role was at the checkouts, but I also helped maintain the shop floor's stock, organization, and cleanliness. This experience significantly improved my customer service skills and ability to handle the pressure of the busy holiday season, including Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year.Responsibilities included serving customers at the checkout, assisting customers throughout the store, and restocking shelves.

My responsibilities included the cleaning and maintenance of the hotel rooms and general upkeep of the hotel. I also worked alongside my team to carry out the function specific tasks as per the organisers schedule ie. weddings, funerals, conferences etc.
