Elevator pitch: Dedicated to athlete development (all levels/abilities) and to help athletes learn to perform at their best - and to have fun doing it. I love what I do - I love working with/mentoring athletes of all ages, with individuals, teams and groups. Anything from helping drive the process of self discovery - for an athlete this could be gaining insight into what drives them to be motivated and to commit to their sport; how to communicate effectively with their coach, MDT or team mates; guide them to develop realistic goals; educate them around developing mastery so as to embrace the process. Also helping athletes explore their athletic identity vs other identities. I enjoy working with coaches, and being part of an organisational and sports team, a member of an MDT, and participating in peer supervision. I have a special interest in improving rehabilitation environments and supporting athletes with disabilities, injuries, and through transitions.
