Rolling is the most well-known Brazilian pole dance fashion brand. It is also the fastest growing. And also very, very young (founded July 2017 by my wife and I).Since the beginning, I was already responsible for the brand's image and very present in the planning of collections (we launch around 6 collections/year).I realized it was time to fully join the brand's everyday life when international sales started. Now I am specially in charge of marketing and exports.

I led the marketing and communications team of 2 brands: Cavalera and Zoomp. I highlight the renewal of both brands' digital strategy; Cavalera's new approach to generation Z and influencers, wholesale communication strategy, and retail sales campaigns (specially Valentine's Day, LGBT pride-related and Father's Day).

As head of Fashion & Design I mostly develop new projects, methodologies and processes to enhance the internationalization of Brazilian fashion.Since the Association broaches the whole textile and apparel chain, I have had the challenge of structuring a business unit that focuses specifically on fashion companies.Furthermore, I have lead teams in innovation challenges such as developing internationalization strategies on a B2C level, supporting and leveraging fashion start ups, placing Brazilian fashion in relevant international e-tailers and creating merchandising methodologies focusing on specific markets.I also assist very closely a selected group of companies that are either large apparel exporters or relevant fashion image drivers for Brazil.Under my management are the following services: Capsula (collection planning and merchandising for foreign markets), Brazilians to Be (BtoBe - fashion start up accelerator), Fashion Lab (turning fashion into service) and I also advise the organization as a whole in all that concerns fashion, design and innovation.As a side activity, I participate on a research group on cultural trends and consumer behavior to forecast fashion trends.User centered mindset is a must in everything I do.

At ABEST, I have played multiple roles, since it was a very lean organization.In a general sense, under my responsibility was the whole management of the Association (finance, HR, communications, member service, government relations, new businesses, new sources of income etc.). More specifically, I handled directly the Brazilian fashion designers internationalization program, in partnership with Brazilian government. Strategizing, fundraising, accountability and overseeing execution of promotion activities were my direct duties.

As market manager for Europe, I was responsible for remotely managing the company's existing offices and distribution centers in Lisbon, Frankfurt, Warsaw, and for the planning and launching of the Moscow operation.The offices' roles, and mine as a consequence, were to promote Brazilian products and services locally and also to provide business intelligence to the HQ.
