Currently I work with United Fire Group’s Louisiana territory to help maximize new business production, improve policy retention figures and to maintain close relationships within our independent agency plant. This includes responsibility for a $38 million dollar commercial book of business with coverages spanning between General Liability, Inland Marine, Property, Umbrella and Workers Compensation. Special attention was paid towards maintaining desirable profitability levels as well as managing large losses and claim frequency issues within the territory. Stonetrust Commercial Insurance is a regional insurance carrier that specializes in offering competitive mono-line Workers Compensation coverage options. My prior territory consisted of South East and South West Louisiana exclusively. During employment, I was tasked with maintaining the area’s book of business through various new business development efforts, while keeping an eye on overall profitability and identifying any specific claims trends. I was also able to maintain a high frequency of in person relationship building agency visits annually. -Elected to Stonetrust "Ownership Thinking Committee" in 2014.-Member of Company Steering Committee in 4th quarter of 2015.

I previously managed a book of middle market Workers Compensation accounts with a value between $5,000 and $200,000. This book retained a value of roughly $5.8 million dollars and was anywhere between 200 and to 300 individual policies. I constantly reviewed my book of business to maximize profitability and to mitigate claim exposure. During my employment, I earned a CWCP designation (Certified Workers Compensation Professional).-Elected to LWCC’s Corporate Wellness Committee in 2013.-Underwriter of the Month Award during the 3rd Quarter 2012-Top Gun Underwriter Award during the 4th Quarter in 2012.

I previously worked within the LWCC Large Account Claims Team which was driven by Workers Compensation claims incurred from large premium policies of $200,000 and above. Our primary focus as adjusters was continual management of open claims, providing timely investigations with appropriate compensability decisions, issuance of indemnity payments when needed, and authorization of various pre-certifications for required medical treatment. On occasion, we would also work with in house counsel to handle various legal disputes. -Elected and served a 2 year term on the LWCC Cornerstone Committee in 2011 & 2012.
