I am an artist born and raised in Dallas, Tx, and currently a Third-Year student at Southern Methodist University pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration, General Business, degree and Juris Doctor. I have been immersed in my family’s personal care and manufacturing businesses: Actifirm, Actitech, and Active Organics since infancy and desire to learn how to form contracts and manage a business in order to help my family and others.Through working in R&D at Actifirm and as an Administrative Assistant for Actitech, I have learned to communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and clients, gained an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices through ISO 9001 training and observing the steps of production, and developed adaptability through my dynamic responsibilities. As an artist and mentor, I’ve acquired creative problem solving skills and learned how to motivate and nurture growth in others.As I complete my business and law degrees, I plan to enhance my skills and learn more about these industries through internships or part-time jobs. I am a passionate speaker; technologically inclined; utilize critical thinking and creative problem solving; able to communicate effectively with peers and compromise, and I am comfortable adapting to new or stressful environments. I hope to use these proficiencies in order to contribute to and grow alongside your organization.
