Vocaly was started by three seasoned and experienced telecom executives; Dave Walsh, Jason Tapolci and Evin Hunt. These three telecommunication pros launched and grew their previous wholesale VoIP companies from inception into industry leading organizations. Through their trials and tribulations, they became thought leaders of the telecom industry and decided to join forces by launching Vocaly.

Designed and rolled out the initial soft switching network to support hosted pbx services for SMB and residential voice services. Designed and rolled out the initial wholesale SIP routing infrastructure to support aggregation of a multitude of both SIP termination providers as well as DID origination providers. Throughout the above processes, developed the concept of PRISM, which was a software platform to aggregate external provider APIs and inventories to open up white label channels, moving StarView upmarket out of the direct SMB retail space to more of a channel enabler for resellers of VoIP services.PRISM evolved into a standalone product, which was renamed to Shango in 2011, and thus evolved into a standalone company.

Instrumental in the rollout of a startup venture between SKT and Optus Inc based out of Dallas TX called Solution One Networks. Solution One was one of the 5 providers in the US selected by Cisco Systems to offer it's Linksys One managed VoIP SMB product.After Cisco discontinued Linksys One, we created a CLEC based out of Wichita, KS called SKT Networks, which was the first CLEC in the region to offer Ethernet Over Copper services. I was responsible for the design and deployment of the technology required to successfully launch the service.
