Evita Lune is a Partner and Global Head of the FinTech Practice Group at Pedersen & Partners. Out of her total portfolio of over 800 successful assignments, she has completed over 250 senior level FinTech assignments in 42+ countries. This extensive expertise has allowed Ms. Lune to build and launch Pedersen & Partners’ Global FinTech Practice where she works closely with a wide range of clients: from challengers and game changes in North Europe to scale ups and disruptors in the Americas, Africa and South-East Asia, and FinTech core team members in all time zones. Prior to setting up Pedersen & Partners’ FinTech Practice, Ms. Lune was responsible for the Global Retail Practice. Since joining Pedersen & Partners in 2005, Ms. Lune has held leadership positions for various geographies in Poland and the Baltics. Ms. Lune’s previous experience includes three years with the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga as the Executive MBA Program Director, and six years with Shell in international and regional marketing management functions in Riga, Budapest, and Brussels. Ms. Lune is a frequent speaker at industry events, most recently she addressed the 2020 LIDERE forum about women’s leadership opportunities across cultures. The forum which was attended by 1,000 live participants and 10,000 streaming. Other events include the CEE FutureTech congress in Warsaw – one of the most important business summits in Central and Eastern Europe – and the Blockchain Pre-Accelerator Program at University of Latvia. She is also a blogger for RigaTechGirls, a Jury Member of CEE Capital Markets and FinTech Awards and a Contributing Advisor at the Digital Freedom Festival. Ms. Lune has been recognised by Forbes as one of the top 25 most influential women in Latvia for two years in a row. Ms. Lune has a PhD in Social Economy. Evita Lune speaks fluent Latvian, English, and Russian and has passive fluency in German, Swedish, and Polish.
