Pickle is a mobile app for competitive selfies and photos, and for helping brands better engage their customers.Users submit their best photos to themed, user-created challenges, and then other users vote for winner. Pickle also lets brands run promoted photo challenges to create stronger brand engagement from their fans and to gain exposure to new customers.Pickle raised $135,000 in venture capital funding and was eventually sold to a similar startup.

The Bridge is a non-profit that helps currently or formerly homeless individuals get back on their feet through sales of newspaper that they write themselves. The organization is led and run entirely by college students, and put over $25,000 directly into the hands of the homeless community in its first year.The Bridge continues to be run entirely by college students and has sold over 75,000 copies. I currently am involved as a board member and advisor.
