Principal responsibilities:• Serve as primary liaison with the Procurement Office on all inter-governmental and vendor contracts involving services or supplies provided to the Municipal Court. As required, ensure contract terms conform to municipal specifications, draft change orders, and prepare drafts of enabling legislation. Created Contract Tracking program to track status of contract negotiation, approval, and expiration/renewal dates.• Developed streamlined, transparent tracking of Open Records requests from inception to fulfillment. Tracking encompasses critical process elements including: acknowledging receipt of each request, transmittal of request to appropriate department for fulfillment, creation and distribution of invoices for applicable fees, redaction of sensitive information, provision of requested material, and fee collection.• Redesigned court forms, templates, and informational documents to achieve more informative content, a more user-friendly layout, and to bring them into compliance with recent legislation.• Member of 5-person task force charged with developing and implementing secure, efficient document filing, retention, and purging procedures for all municipal court filings. Legal requirements vary by type of filing.• Prepare memoranda, draft orders, and research case law for use by the court in carrying out judicial duties.
