My responsibilities included:• Assisting the CEO with running his protection brokerage company from an operational and strategic level, including project management; managing budgets and appraisals for the heads of each department; diary, client and correspondence management; and ensuring his day to day business was managed smoothly and efficiently.• Assisting the Director of PR with diary management, organising high profile meetings and lunches with journalists, liaising with the press and press releases, circulating press activities and producing press reports for clients.• Organising national and international events for the business and protection insurance industry. Events included annual awards ceremonies, overseas conventions, in-house award ceremonies and annual festive and rewarding excellence events.• Working alongside an 11-strong Senior Management team to organise board meetings, from location, minute taking, managing action points, and ensuring all deadlines were delivered. • Line manager to the Administrative Assistant for the London office, ensuring deadlines were met and projects were delivered, conducting weekly meetings and quarterly appraisals for both personal and professional development.• Managing 3 office sites in London, Milton Keynes and Leeds, liaising with landlords and suppliers to ensure the smooth operation of each office.
