Structures - executive aviation

Embraer Engineering Specialization Program is 18-month professional/academic program where engineers are trained to act in the product development cycle of an aircraft. Over the first year the participants attend academic courses from the Aeronautical Institute of Technology (ITA) as well as professional training courses from Embraer, where the fundamentals of an aircraft development are taught. In the final semester the participants are challenged to design an innovative aircraft, from defining the market requirements until the conceptual and preliminary design phases.Career Specialization: Structures.

- Responsible for drawing up process sheets, standard procedures and visual aids for the JIT assembly sector.- Responsible for component mapping and line edge studies in the JIT assembly sector.- Responsible for defining microlayout standards for the JIT assembly sector.- Responsible for chrono-analysis studies in the JIT assembly sector.- Support and participation in layout change and balancing activities in the JIT assembly sector.- Preparation of purchase requisitions, technical scope and follow up with suppliers.- Responsible for calculating plant efficiency.- Acting and participating in the installation of sensors and vision systems, as well as their configuration.- Support in activities involving tightening technology.- Preparing risk analyses together with a cross-functional team.- Participation in the development of continuous improvement projects (Kaizens).

- WCM: Participation in the EPM pillar for two audits, being responsible for contributing to the pillar's foundation and subsequent achievement of its second score;- WCM: Participation in the EEM pillar for two audits, being responsible for contributing directly to achieving the pillar's third score;- Routine support for the engineering team involving activities such as chronoanalysis, time analysis, MUDA analysis, line balancing and layout changes;- Support for activities involving vision systems;- Basic knowledge of engineering documents (SOP, BOM, PFMEA, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, PV, DP&V, PPAP, Change records);- Experience with excel (VBA) and PowerBI in creating control documents and dashboards for analyzing KPIs.

- Responsible for preparing questions, answering queries and helping students on the HCIA course to perform well in the certification exam.

- Responsible for studies related to signal acquisition, signal processing and DNN creation.

- Responsible for answering questions and helping to resolve issues relating to the subjects covered in the course.

- Participation in and experience of situations that refer to functions performed by an engineer in the job market, such as: creation and development of projects, manufacturing processes, budgets and schedules; experience with design software (AutoCad, SolidWorks, Ansys), management software (Asana), Office Package and programming software (MATLAB);- Responsible for transmission system simulations;- Responsible for the development and study of newcomers to the sub-team.

- Responsible for consultancies and courses given to the UFPB Formula Team on the subject of Finite Element Method and 3D modeling.

- Participation in and experience of situations reminiscent of the functions performed by an engineer in the job market, such as: creation and development of projects, manufacturing processes, budgets and schedules; experience with design software (AutoCad, SolidWorks, Ansys), management software (Asana) and the Office package.- Development of activities related to the sizing and technical study of a brake system.

- Responsible for assisting other members in their research and in the development of studies on the subjects covered; focus on fracture mechanics.

- Responsible for teaching classes related to the course.
