As a graduate of both the Biomedical Equipment Technician Program, recognized by AAMI, and the Engineering Technician Program at MiraCosta College in Carlsbad, CA, I bring a blend of education and hands-on experience, enhanced by four years of dedicated work in the biomedical field.Presently, I am advancing my expertise by pursuing a CBET certification.My professional journey commenced at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, where I quickly established myself as a valuable team member, adept at delivering swift and effective engineering solutions to support patient care. Subsequently, my move to Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA, positioned me as the lead biomedical technician, managing both the department and its associated long-term care facility. Most recently, at Renown in Reno, NV, I embraced the opportunity to oversee the repair division of the biomedical shop. In this role, I managed work orders, ensured thorough service documentation, and provided training to junior technicians, thereby reinforcing our team's efficiency and the reliability of our equipment. This journey has not only solidified my foundation in regulatory standards, process development,and electrical engineering but also in the practical aspects of ensuring biomedical equipment performs optimally. My goal is to complete my CBET certification by the end of 2024, aspiring to further my contribution and grow within the organization.
