My duties are, but not limited to, the following:- Coordinate and schedule Governing Body and Medical Staff meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and distributing meeting materials. - Assist in the development and implementation of Governing Body policies and procedures. - Assist in the credentialing and privileging process for medical staff members. - Maintain accurate records of Governing Body decisions and actions and Medical Staff appointments, reappointments, and disciplinary actions.- Prepare reports and presentations for Governing Body and Medical Staff meetings as required. - Liaise with external regulatory agencies on behalf of the Governing Body and the Medical Staff.- Manage and maintain accurate records of medical staff licenses, certifications, and malpractice insurance. - Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies. - Assist with the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. - Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
