- part of sourcing new supplier development in Europe with concentration in Poland in Czech- key Pole contact in Europe for PO execution for forgings, machined parts, gears and castings,- day-to-day monitoring and pulsing on deliveries to three main GET locations: Erie, Grove City, Latham,- successfully maintained and improved common materials management tracking techniques (LOB’s, supplier’s commitments, acknowledgements in SCP) and made it a firm day-to-day business tool for suppliers to ensure smooth deliveries and on-time PO execution,- collected and systemized premium transportation records for Latham (not in FTK), and worked out a proper claiming process with commodity to SAP respective costs back,- routine interaction with logistics team both in the US and Poland on ensuring goods transit, verifying delivery status, and setting up non-standard transportation routes for emergency cases (Latham),- on site visits to maintain suppliers’ relationships (familiar with manufacturing processes and lead-times at all critical suppliers),- AP issues resolution - Oracle, payment tracking, analysis of the payment failure, coordinating with Commodity Leaders, GE Financial Team, Vendors; working with SSS AP - working along with the suppliers on the forecasts provided by GE Transportation on a weekly/monthly basis,- coordinating transition / trainings (initial and in –process) for all European suppliers into RyderTrac & UTI,- Supplier’s compliance – support to GET compliance team on collection of data/certificates on various compliance programs (CTPAT, REACH) supplier security program requirements - CTPAT - all Europe suppliers
