With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in economic and enterprise development and is a dedicated gender specialist.Currently serving as a Gender expert on economic transformation with the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (World Bank-sponsored), EwaJesu ensures that gender concerns are integrated into various sectors, including Agriculture, Education, and Business Enabling Environment.Her commitment goes beyond borders. She played a pivotal role in localizing the Commonwealth Youth Action Plan, which led to the development of the Youth Employment Template in Nigeria. As the Deputy Chair for Africa Region in the Commonwealth, she mainstreamed youth participation in various Commonwealth Secretariat programs, advocating for the establishment of the Commonwealth Youth Council.EwaJesu's expertise extends to consultancies and work experience, where she's made a mark in projects related to financial literacy training and entrepreneurship development, collaborating with organizations like GIZ and the British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation.She has been a fellow of numerous prestigious programs, including the Commonwealth Youth Program, The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Fellowship, the 2022 United States State Department International Visitors Leadership Program on Foreign Aid and Foreign Direct Investment, the 2021 Program on Empowering Youth Through Workforce Development, and the 2019 United States Consulate Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE).
