I am a Motorsport Engineering graduate looking for a graduate role within the engineering and motorsports industry. For my dissertation I am designing a bodywork package for an RC race car, my early testing has shown that aerodynamic improvements to an RC vehicle can affect significant changes to performance and handling. My design work aims to formalize this knowledge and create an aero package that will demonstrate these improvements. Throughout development of my dissertation I aim to have a focus on productization and marketability of my design. My passion for motorsport engineering stems from my long history in national RC racing, which has grown through my BTEC into a wider appreciation of engineering as a discipline. I am a founding member of the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) Academy Greenpower team, which involved designing and building a small race car. As a team we competed in various events around the country, achieving moderate success of placing 5th in the International Kit Car final at Rockingham raceway in 2015.
