Created tools in Python to automate the setup of new webpages on OCTAVIUS suite.Involved connecting with a Mongo database (with PyMongo) and creating tools to automate the management, sanitization and formatting of newly uploaded datasets.Used this script to generate a page for research into XDINS (X-Ray Dim Isolated Neutron Stars), and gave a presentation detailing the webpage (how it was created, the tech stack and how the webpage's features were used to do research) at the New Results in X-Ray Astronomy UK conference 2024 @ UoSussex.Create a company registry page for businesses wishing to create their own pages to display (perhaps not astronomical) data.

In 2021:Voluntary work experience I did over the summer, working on a website to present galaxy cluster data and make an interface between those researching and the astronomy database.Had to create UI components in React, specifically for an image manipulation interface.Did general aesthetic work involving styles.Used React logic such as context and hooks.In 2023:Updating, refactoring and patching the OCTAVIUS suite of Astronomy Tools to bring the service up to the Cyber Essentials Plus - Government Recognised Standard. This work focused on Skills in React (JavaScript) and service management.

Main duties:Pouring alcoholic beverages in the back of house.Cleaning surfaces, floors and equipment including trays and ovens.Making sure ample food and drinks are prepared for peak periods, such as before kick-off, at half-time and at full-time.Preparing food for the oven by organising it on racks so it is ready to be cooked.Resolving customer issues.

Main duties:Set up and organise sideshow stands before opening.Communicate with customers, take payment and provide them with various experiences around the rides department.Restock stands with working equipment and prizes.Maintain stands and make sure they are all functioning correctly.Work in a large team of both fellow operators and superiors.
