I was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship to come to the González lab and study how TE polymorphisms and environmentally sensitive chromatin marks interact in natural populations of the fruitfly D. melanogaster and the invasive species D. suzukii.

During this postdoctoral research fellowship (carried out jointly at Ifremer and IUEM/UBO), I studied how two different populations of the great scallop (Pecten maximus) differ in their response to warming and ocean acidification stresses, integrating proteomic, eco-physiological and phenotypic measures to understand plastic responses to environmental change.

In this postdoctoral position I used experimental, transcriptomic and bioinformatic approaches to study developmental differences between marine mollusc species in their response to climate change stressors (warming and ocean acidification).

During my thesis I used experimental, statistical and transcriptomic approaches to investigate the interactions of genetic, environmental and non-genetic effects on maturation processes in the water flea Daphnia.
