About Ewan Watson

I am a solicitor qualified in England specialising in television content distribution and licensing across traditional linear and digital / on-demand platforms throughout EMEA. I lead the legal team for EMEA TV/Digital licensing at Lionsgate. Prior to joining Lionsgate, I worked at Warner Bros. for 11 years advising on content distribution deals across EMEA, in-house at the BBC, and in private practice in the Media Communications and Technology team at Olswang (now CMS), and in the Corporate Finance / M&A teams at Debevoise & Plimpton and Linkaters. I am also qualified at the New York bar.I am an advocate for LGBT+ inclusion. During my career at Warner Bros. I was actively involved in the Out@WarnerMedia LGBT+ network.
