Managing cross-cutting briefing for the Office for Life Sciences and sharing expertise across the directorate Providing high quality briefing and support to four ministers and senior officials in the Department of Health and Social Care and Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and across government. Managing correspondence and parliamentary affairs on behalf of the Office for Life Sciences’ 4 core deputy director teams.

Managing responses to media requests, proactive communications and supporting stakeholder engagement in preparation for EU Exit and No Deal preparations.Supporting briefing for ministers, parliamentary business and correspondence related to the supply of medicines and medical products in EU Exit scenarios.

Providing analysis and data relating to the Academies Programme in England, helping to inform both national and regional level understanding of the state of the programme. Assisting in the production of analysis and data on the programme through internal data requests and externally for publications.

Working as part of a small team across two independent coffee shops in Sevenoaks, interacting with customers and producing a range of food and drink. Responsible for opening and closing the shop, daily banking, ordering and stock control, food preparation and upholding food hygiene standards, as well as the training of other staff members.

• Communicate geographical concepts and ideas to children of various ages to aid learning • Help run workshops and events to communicate with children, parents and teachers about weather, Geography and the uses of GIS (Geographical Information Systems) on Earth and Mars• Have designed and run sessions promoting physical geography for several classes as part of an event at the Royal Geographical Society

Guiding tours of prospective Geography students around the Loughborough University campus and accommodation, answering questions about the course offered by the department as well as student life generally.
