Ship Yard project support and sea trails delivery for the River Class Batch 2 vessels on behalf of BAE systems. Facilitating MOD, MCA and Classification society surveys and conducting crew training familiarisation. Developing risk assessments and implement SOPs to allow safe and effective operation. Liaising between the MOD, Port Authorities, Clients and multiple third party contractors. Planning and executing commissioning sea trials, delivery voyages.Logistical and vessel management support to the RBNF on behalf of BAE Systems during the purchase and handover phase of Al-Zubara. Providing ship specific training for ship’s company in bridge procedures, vessel operations, emergency situations and small craft operations. Occasionally stepping up and acting as SLJO and Snr Bunting Officer.

State of the art blue water oceanographic research vessels. Providing a safe and reliable platform capable of facilitating the most advanced and cutting edge oceanographic research. Requiring the highest degree of professionalism, practicality and adaptability when operating in the harshest and remote working environments conducting a vast array of scientific operations from ROV / AUV and Gliders through to Coring, Seismics, Hydrographic Survey and Subsea Infrastructure / Moorings. Completed 8 month major refit and dry docking / upgrade of machinery and science equipment project on RRS James Cook.

Cadetship then as 3rd mate enrolled in the Junior Officer Development Program - A mentoring scheme which involved working ashore between seagoing trips in the head office. Vessel Operator (4 months) managing 5 container vessels, Strategic Fleet Training Coordinator (4 Months) implemented a targeted enclosed space training program. Vessel Decommissioning Compliance (project 3 months).

SEAHORSE II fully equipped offshore survey and combat weapons trials support vessel, 144 gross tons, and 25.35 metres long. Worked predominantly with the Type 45 destroyer program providing trails support and target towing.
