I'm primarily an experimentalist in any kind of optics/spectroscopy. I've done both classical and laser spectroscopy, with continuous and pulsed lasers (low and high energy). My primary source was for a long time pretty low-temperature plasma, both equilibrium and non-equilibrium (arcs, barrier discharges, microwave, plasma jets), but I transferred into high-temperature MCF plasma (stellarators, tokamaks) around 2015 and do spectroscopy there.I have as well the experience with computer modeling, but more as an user of the modeling codes than the creator (I have changed the codes, but not written anything bigger than few hundreds of lines from scratch).My goal is to work in research - not as much in the career, as it can easily get in the way of research (the higher you go, the less time you spend on research and more on human resources) as in the real work.Specialties: Classical and laser spectroscopy, plasma physics, plasma chemistry, computer modeling.
