Conduct Civil Inspections for the City of Round Rock Inspection Services Office.

Commercial construction plan review and field inspection. Residential and commercial irrigation plan review and inspections. Record inspections in field books and computer data logs. Residential irrigation system evaluation for water conservation. Residential and commercial water meter sizing. Code enforcement and compliance. Testing and maintenance of district backflow devices.

Lead Utility Technician for the Collections Department. Repair and maintain water and wastewater (W/WW) systems. Camera and jet wastewater lines. Inspect new W/WW developments. Inspect eOne grinder start-ups and trouble-shoot/replace broken pumps. Test/repair all district backflow devices. Use SCADA to monitor wastewater/collection system. Check and maintain 60+ lift stations across district. Install and maintain irrigation system at lift stations. Extensive knowledge of automated meter reading, AMR programs, and troubleshooting meters. Exercise, fix and replace valves and hydrants. Build structures/objects as needed using carpentry, welding and fabrication practices.
