I am a partner in the Connell Foley’s construction and real estate, insurance coverage and land use practice groups. I represent companies, boards, and their executives in all aspects of daily operations and business disputes, acting as outside general counsel for a wide array of clients nationwide, including issues related to contracts, joint venture, labor and employment, real estate, construction, intellectual property, privacy and cyber issues, and insurance.As an experienced litigator, I counsel and represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors nationwide in complex multi-party litigations, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings concerning construction and design-defect claims, contract claims, construction lien claims, delay and impact claims, bond claims, insurance claims, and related matters. I also regularly advise my clients on risk management strategies, including mitigation of liability through AIA and manuscript contract drafting and negotiating, as well as insurance procurement and interpretation.I advise my insurer clients on a wide range of insurance coverage matters across all lines of business, including management liability, cyber and technology, financial institutions, directors and officers, professional liability, and commercial liability. I frequently advise and work with clients on drafting or updating insurance policy forms and interpreting claims issues, and I regularly act as coverage counsel in many complex matters around the United States.I am also an arbitrator and currently serve as a panelist on the American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators. I have participated in dozens of mediations and arbitrations concerning commercial, construction, insurance, and employment disputes involving high-exposure claims with values up to $100 million.I am admitted to practice before the Bars of the State of New York and New Jersey and various federal courts around the United States, but counsel clients in all jurisdiction.
