I am pleased to report that I have retired from managing MagneMotion's Engineering team (a division of Rockwell Automation). I have also relocated to Portland Oregon to be close to our 3 Kids. Responsible for leading the technical direction and planning aspects, contractual product and IP agreements, as well as managing all funding aspects of this $12M+ program and the resources allocated to it (100 at its peak). Project led to over 10 patents and has resulted in >20M$ of derivative Emerson product sales above and beyond the $150M projected sales from this MoreElectric focused program. Managed Group at Corporate R&D tasked with advancing their High Density interconnect Process technology, transitioning the technology to Texas Instruments, and prototyping advanced highly compact, high speed military oriented GPS and cross-bar switches. Created printed circuit board center of excellence used across GE divisions to resolve manufacturing and reliability issues. Personally selected by Corporate R&D Sr. VP to help GE transportation's business unit resolve critical field reliability issues with full authority to assemble and manage CR&D resources to accomplish this task (resulted in 10X improvement over 12 months).

Progressively promoted from Individual contributor at Corporate R&D to engineering manager of the Smart Power group within GE Semiconductor operations. Invented new Inverter power stage architecture and topology, developed new to the world High Voltage IC process to reduce Inverter stage parts count by 10X, leveraged this technology to enable GE Fanuc's Genius IO new product platform and to create Power IC's for IBM's PS1 computer power supply. Secured 14 patents during this time period.
