Primary area of expertise is in the design, funding, administration and regulatory compliance of governmental retirement plans. Also experienced in actuarial valuation of postretirement medical benefit plans of governmental entities. Experienced in providing support for GASB accounting compliance and drafting of disclosure statements for public pension plans. Also provided technical work for expert witness cases related to wrongful death, personal injury, divorce and wrongful termination cases. Expertise related to the design, funding and administration of defined benefit pension plans includes performance of actuarial valuations, review and development experience studies and actuarial assumptions, study of benefit increases and other plan design changes and the drafting of plans and plan amendments.
